School Spirit Awards are open

Our Homes101 site has opened the School Spirit Awards for 2006. Students, teachers and administrators of public and private K-12 schools in the United States can nominate their school.

Homes101 provides school data information but we wanted to take it a step further. In this era of consumer-generated media, we’re going to the source and asking people in those schools what makes them great places to learn.

Homes101’s sister site, Relocate-America.com, has had positive feedback with its “Top 100 Places to Live in America” each year. We know communities are proud to have these designations and we wanted to recognize the efforts of the schools, too.

HomeRoute’s Relocate America site, www.relocate-america.com, has just released its 2006 list of “America’s Top 100 Places to Live.” Relocate-America’s editorial team had the challenging task of reading through thousands of submissions, combing through city statistics and assembling the final list.
